Shelton Historical Society is hosting a Vintage Vehicles Antique and Classic Car Show on their grounds at Shelton History Center, 70 Ripton Rd, Shelton from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Admission is a dollar for Dads and $5.00 per person or $10.00/ Family (4).
Have an interest in trolleys?
In the first of two Trolley Museum events for Father’s Day, there’s a behind the scenes tour at the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. Dads and Granddads receive FREE admission when accompanied by a paying adult or child. General admission prices can be found here.
Live closer to the coast but still want to see some trolleys on Father’s Day?
Consider checking out The Shore Line Trolley Museum at 17 River St in East Haven on June 15th and 16th, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On Father’s Day weekend Dads ride free with a paid family member. Regular admission prices can be found here.
State Museum Sunday
Three of the Connecticut State Museums are celebrating State Museum Sunday on Father’s Day!
There is free admission for Connecticut residents at The Prudence Crandall Museum in Canterbury, Old New Gate Prison & Copper Mine in East Granby, and The Henry Whitfield State Museum in Guilford this Sunday.
Looking for something more dramatic?
You could pack a blanket or chairs and take your dad to the Hamden Town Center Park to watch the Tieline Theater Production of Julius Caesar. There are four performances this weekend. The Sunday performance is at 2:00.
