New Year’s Eve!

Would you like to add some history to your New Year’s Eve celebration? Here are a few suggestions:

 

First Light Festival
Westport Historical Society will be hosting the “First Light Festival” from 4:00pm to 9:00pm for a night of family fun on New Year’s eve including many of the beloved activities that Westporters and visitors have enjoyed in years past. Buttons are $10 online or $15 at the door. No charge for children 2 years old and under. Please pick-up buttons at WHS.

 

 

First Night Hartford 2019
First Night Hartford 2019 runs from 2:00pm to midnight. Tours for history lovers include Architectural Treasures of Hartford, Ancient Burying Ground Tour, Butler McCook House, Kids Fest, Tour of Christ Church Cathedral, and Tour of First Church of Christ (Center Church). Each admission wristband will admit each person into all programming and all locations all day/evening long.

 

New Year’s Eve at Hill-Stead
The Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington will be decorated for the holidays. Tours of the 1901 Colonial Revival house will be offered from 1:00 to 4:00pm, free with Museum Membership or admission.
